Specially developed for Vigil® (patented technology -EU Patent N° EP1512626A2). The cutter severs the reserve loop by a pyrotechnical cutting action with a circular knife. It will eventually melt the loop to ensure its separation due to high internal temperature. The cutter is completly confined to avoid any possible damage to the parachute. Cut the loop in less than 2 milliseconds. Strong and flexible connecting wire (kevlar reinforced). No interconnections (same wire from connector to detonator). Wire-cutter connection resists up to 50 kg traction. Easy cutter replacement.
